Park & Adventures in Thaliparamba

In Kannur district we have a lot to say to those who ask us what is one of them .One of the falls is Karaakundu Waterfalls .There are only 12 kms away from Taliparamba and 20 Kilim from Payyanur. A small off-road passes through Karakundu Falls. The waterfall flows down the slopes of the bottom of the staircase with a splendid view of the exquisite sculpture. The park houses a variety of snakes and other small animals, including the Spectacled cobra, King Cobra, Russell's viper, Krait and various pit vipers. There is also a large collection of non-venomous snakes including pythons. The park is dedicated to the preservation and conservation of snakes, many species of which are gradually becoming extinct. In a live show, trained personnel play and 'interact' with a variety of snakes, including cobras and vipers, and try to quell mythical fears and superstitions about snakes.

Vismaya is an amusement water theme park near Taliparamba in Kannur, Kerala. The park is developed and run by Malabar Tourism Development Co-operative Limited (MTDC). It is situated near to the famous Muthappan temple in Parassinikadavu. It was officially inaugurated in August 2008 and since then it has become one of the favorite holiday destination in Malabar.
